Leslie Gomez, the founder of Trynabstudios, is a highly creative young woman on the rise and on her way to the top in fashion. Originally from Birmingham, AL, she is of Mexican descent and is a first-generation Mexican-American. To jump-start her brand, she took a step of faith and packed up all her belongings back in Birmingham and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue Trynabstudios full-time. Now if that doesn’t sound like driven to you, then I don’t know what does? What really caught my attention about Leslie is her innovative-design process. To think she used her sewing skills and childhood as a way of means to develop and evolve her brand is truly inspiring. She has not only caught attention by Instagram influencers wuzg00d and danie.sierra that wear her repurposed clothing and accessories, but was recently selected to join the Nike By You Community Sneaker drop. So you may be wondering, what is Trynabstudios?

Trynabstudios is a lifestyle brand that repurposes women’s clothing. It focuses on the importance of sustainability through women’s streetwear. Each one of her custom-made pieces allows you to feel stylish and uniquely express yourself. The repurposed signature Nike blazers come in several different colors and are created in an innate way. Leslie’s drive to keep evolving and designing new pieces really shows her ability to think outside of the box and be a game-changer in fashion. From socks to scrunchies, blazers, skirts, pants, and prints— the limit does not exist.
