Keep Pursuing Your Purpose No Matter How Long It Takes

It has been some time since my last blog post. I’m sorry. My mind was unclear and unfocused; I was having a hard time writing. So I reframed and found creativity through other outlets. Now that I'm back, I have a couple things I would like to share.

I’ve been really motivated lately. This past weekend I had the chance to go to a sustainable + wellness event in Atlanta hosted by Female Genius. I went alone and was a little nervous, but I was very pleased with the outcome. It was the perfect representation of women’s empowerment. I was surrounded by these beautiful and intelligent women with creative minds that are pursuing their passions in life and leaving an impact. While I was there listening and taking in all their recommendations and thoughts, I truly felt as if I could do it too. It gave me the motivation I needed to keep going, no matter how long it takes. Hearing their stories were genuinely inspiring.

That being said, build something that has real purpose and brings meaningful value to your heart. We live in a world where social media glamorizes having money and getting everything you truly desire will solve your problems and birth happiness. But that's far from the case. Your actions today will have an impact on where you go next.

My b! Sorry to get so “preachy.” Just giving my two cents. Lol. Anyway, while I am in the midst of creating my “baby,” I want to encourage you if you’re reading this that YOU can do it too. It’s one thing to say you’re going to start a business, it’s another to put those words into action. Start today if you have to! The first step can go a long way!
