Pursue Your Passion Even Though You're Working at Your 9-5 Job!

Hi again :),

I’ve been wanting to do it ALL but haven’t been acting on what I deeply desire- which is starting my streetwear line. I’ve been thinking about it constantly and finally decided to just say f*** it and start. I’ve written down on a piece of paper the simplicity of what I see my items of clothing to be. This weekend I’m going to be productive and go to my fav thrift store and pick out a hoodie and create. I aim to be eco-friendly and incorporate organic/reusable materials for my line, but, I have to be practical. I can utilize what I have with a little bit at the moment.

The ironic thing is that I’ve always loved putting clothes + accessories together and received lots of praises (not sounding conceited) on my outfit choices. I genuinely enjoy incorporating different pieces together and see myself thriving by starting my streetwear brand.

While I am working and learning where I’m at right now business wise— I’m going to do my best to focus on my creativity when I have my free time. If you’re working a 9-5 like me, take 30 minutes to an hour a day on sitting down and creating a layout plan for your goals, whether short or long term... get them done! And check them off once you’ve completed your deadlines! It may seem unrealistic, but this is untrue; the days and weeks go quick... so start now!
