Life Always Throws You A Curveball. But Don't Allow That To Deteriorate Your Future

Have you ever been so emotionally tired that you just wanted to scream? Or just escape? If only I had 100 million dollars (which will come in time). Life itself can be A LOT and not knowing how to cope with your current circumstances can be mentally damaging.

I’m currently sitting down in my room and starting a new regimen of writing once a week about anything; whether it be where I’m at presently in life or whatever I want to tell. I’m so passionate about writing because it’s an extension of me… so I have to keep the creative juices flowing. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about all the amazing things I see myself doing and getting into; in a sense, I can see my wants and desires coming into fruition, and I’m never stopping. Whoever’s out there reading this… I just want to say laugh, find your passion and soar.

We’re conditioned to be brought into this world- go to school, get a job, find a significant other, start a family and have that happily ever after ending. But who wants to be like everyone else when you can choose your own path. I want you to know that you can break these barriers that's supposedly written into our lives. Be different and discover other opportunities that are out there- because there is an endless amount of job fields you can get into and find.

If you’re miserable where you are, get out of it, take a break if you have the financial support and take some time to yourself to find what makes you happy and gives you the motivational drive. I wake up every day and see the news about another person dead or mass shootings and crazy scandals that can change the course of people’s lives and I sit back and think “I don’t want to die here on earth and not chase the gifts that God has given me.”

So I leave you with this- take a deep breath, take a bubble bath, write in your journal, pick up that paintbrush, finish that assignment, go on a walk/run, take a solo trip, or take a drive by yourself with the music blasting. Whatever it is that you think you need to do- DO and believe in your worth and your craft because that shit is beautiful.

Keep going; keep going, keep going! What you desire most may be taking longer than you expected, and usually, that’s a good thing… but just know your hard work and determination is being calculated and you will reap what you sew.

You are loved, you are great, you are here for a purpose.

With love,

-Brit XO
