Mental Health Is Real. Remember To Take Time For Yourself.

Hey guys! I’m back. :) I know it’s been a minute, but here I am. I’ve been going through the motions again recently, and it became toxic to the point to where I couldn’t even write. That itself is scary because if you know me, you know how expressive I am and how much I write on a daily basis. Your minds negative thoughts + social media's deadly addiction can cause you to lose yourself, and ultimately, that was the outcome of its adverse effect on me. The mere fact is that if you don’t control your thoughts and the way you’re spending your time on social media, it can become destructive mentally and emotionally. It became draining because there were some instances where I just never had the motivation to do the simplest thing as to clean my room. I was allowing these unhealthy habits to consume me yet again and I have decided to try a mental health cleanse. Mind you, today 8/12/18 is day one, and it’s going to be a daily journey- I realized I couldn’t be too hard on myself because I can be my own worst enemy. That being said, you too may be going through your own personal struggles, and I want to remind you of your worth and how strong you are. Never allow your situation to dictate your future. Anything is possible in this life, and sometimes we allow our circumstances to let us settle because nothing in the natural realm seems to be changing. (I completely understand because I’m right there with you). I think another thing we do is tend to forget to live in the moment.(Me, me, me!!!). Life is constantly evolving, so just enjoy the ride and stop trying to rush/force things to happen that are out of your control.

Take a break. Take time to yourself. Read, write, paint. Whatever it is that takes your mind off of being engrossed in social media and negative thoughts - JUST DO IT!

Inhale...... Now exhale all your worries away. How do you feel? Breathe. :)

What are some of your ways of coping? I’d love to hear them!!

Remember----> You are beautiful. You are wonderful. You are strong. You have a purpose.

I love you! <3
