First Post: Brittney Butler

Hey y'all. (I'm southern, so i'll be using the term "y'all" frequently ;) ). This is my first ever blog. I wanted to finally create one because I've always had a passion of writing. The thought of sharing my story; myself to people sounds vulnerable. But it's where I can be myself the most. Here I will be blogging not only about my life, but my interest(s), traveling, food spots, music, poetry + more. I plan to touch upon world issues, the beauty of being a woman and other topics. I would like to give you a little background of me (I'll keep it short & sweet :) ). My name is Brittney Butler. I'm 23, and a recent college graduate from Georgia State University (THE BEST SCHOOL: GO PANTHERS!!!). I currently have a BIG girl job now, but I'm trying to beat the system by honing into my skills and discovering what I enjoy doing in life (only one life to live, LIVE IT) that way I'll be able to create my own job. I've been writing since I was in Kindergarten(I had a diary). It's always been my passion to write down my thoughts and how I feel. I'm pretty shy, so being able to express myself through writing has been my scapegoat. Once I started Uni, I started to dive deeper in my writing and turned to poetry. I also have a deep interest in making beats (musically speaking). Just the thought of curating different sounds is so unreal to me.(Like, the fact that a person can create what they feel through a software is crazy). A goal of mine is to collab with Drake in the near future... and I know for a fact it will happen! I studied abroad my last year of Uni @ Jönköping University in Sweden and that trip forever changed my life and started my love for travel. While I was abroad, I traveled to 5 different countries: Denmark, France, Poland, Spain and Hungary. Living abroad forever changed my perspective on life. You enjoy life more, and you never take it for granted. I hope this post introduces myself into the blogging world clearly and I can't wait to share more information and topics to y'all. Take care!
